Portfolio Milestone
Within the
next four weeks I plan to create three 3D portfolio pieces of work. I will be
using 3DS Max and UDK. I will model a Plane, Mountains (scenery) and finally a
small game scene.
I will
create all of these to eventually build in with the final environment (game
scene)
I will stick
to a certain limit of polys –
Plane – 10,000
polys.
Mountains –
(as many polys as needed)
Small game
scene - (within 10,000 polys.)
Week 1 – In week 1 I will start creating my
3D models. I may create a mixture of 3DS Max and UDK 3D models. I will make
sure I have all of the models finished within 15 days
Week 2 – In week 2 I will start to unwrap
all of my 3D models. This will take me
to the start of week 3 (6th December.)
Week 3 – In week 3 I will start to texture
my 3D models. This will carry on until the 10th December.
Week 4 – In week 4 I will finish up on tiny
details and make sure all of my assets look the best they can.
All of these
will be completed by the 19th December.
